A TESTIMONY OF FAITH & REDEMPTION
40 Winters
A Journey to Extraordinary Living
In this personal memoir, Dale White shares his journey through forty years of alcohol and drug addiction, broken relationships, and incarceration—and how faith in Jesus Christ opened the door to recovery and a life of purpose.
With honesty about the pain of his past and gratitude for the people who walked beside him, Dale offers hope to anyone starting over, families praying for a loved one, and those who wonder whether lasting change is possible.
I shared my story in 40 Winters: A Journey to Extraordinary Living. This companion journal is an invitation to take time with your own.
Organized chapter by chapter alongside the book, the journal brings together Scripture, reflection questions, prayer, and space to write. Consider where you have been, what God is teaching you, and the next step you can take with Him.
Use it for personal reflection or as a starting point for conversation with a trusted friend or recovery group. You do not need perfect words. Begin honestly, right where you are.
A companion resource for small groups and retreats
The book shares Dale’s story. The Journal invites readers to reflect on their own. The Facilitator’s Guide helps you bring those conversations together in a group, with Scripture, prayer, and practical steps toward a life of faith and purpose.
Built around ten sessions, this guide equips facilitators to lead thoughtful discussions alongside 40 Winters: A Journey to Extraordinary Living and A Companion Journal. It offers direction while leaving room for each person’s experience and the needs of your group.

THE MISSION BEHIND 40 WINTERS
Help Put Hope in Their Hands
A changed life can help someone else believe change is possible. I wrote 40 Winters to reach men and women who need hope and help call them home to God.
My goal is to place this book into the hands of as many incarcerated men and women as possible, at no cost to them—and to reach others held captive by addiction, shame, and hopelessness.
You can help provide copies for others, introduce this mission to your church or Celebrate Recovery group, or contact me about supporting distribution.
Paperbacks are available on Amazon. Contact Dale to discuss providing copies for others.

MEET THE AUTHOR
I know what it means to begin again.
My name is Dale White. After forty years of alcoholism and drug abuse, I found a new life through faith in Jesus Christ. My story includes incarceration, recovery, and learning to live with purpose.
I co-founded The Living Harvest, a Celebrate Recovery driven residential reentry program for men in Tallahassee, and served as a Celebrate Recovery Inside State Representative. Today, I share my testimony with men and women in correctional facilities and with communities supporting recovery and reentry.
I wrote 40 Winters to offer the hope that changed my life: it is never too late for God to do something extraordinary.
